What we do
Somebody dies, and suddenly there is paperwork. Accounts nobody can find. A house full of things nobody can identify. Deadlines nobody mentioned, and a stack of decisions that all feel urgent and permanent at the same time.
We work on that part. Buried in Work Charitable is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and our job is helping people prepare for and navigate the practical realities of death, estate organization, end-of-life planning, and what comes next. Less inspiration, more knowing which form to file and who to call.
What we run
EndOfLifeCareers.org is our initiative for anyone curious about working in this field. It covers the roles, across six fields, with what the work involves and what it takes to qualify. It covers the schools and training programs that lead to them, the certifications and licenses each one actually requires, and the scholarships that help pay for it. Free to use, whether you are a student, a career changer, or someone already doing the work.
